Thanks to wonderful, invaluable family and friends (you know who you are) I was able to switch from loaner and backup PCs to a Mac I own! #
The upside of a Mac is you can focus on actual computing instead of minor or major hassles with troubleshooting problems ALL THE TIME! #
and that saves serious time and money, more than offsetting the extra costs. #
The first day of adjusting to Mac is hard, because I so used to Windows interface. But after the adjusting phase, you see how good OS X is. #

The onscreen keyboard software for Mac, KeyStrokes, that allows me to type with the mouse, is much more powerful than the software for PC. #

The nursing agency model is broken badly, and almost anyone who is helplessly subjected to it soon will want to jump out a window. #

http://is.gd/5fgK4 is unfortunately consistent with what I have experienced, especially with my 17 years with nursing agencies in Alabama. #
Three different nurses we had were later jailed for sex crimes, two others were took my meds, and an half-a-dozen or more stole from us #
This in-depth ProPublica news investigation http://is.gd/5fgK4 exposes how too many nursing agencies send out *anyone* #
and do nothing about complaints of dangerous negligence but send the nurse to the next hospital or home. #
There are many wonderful people in the nursing field. I hope they can step forward and overhaul the ways nursing works in this country. #
